I can say that this album is simply great. Not just very good but great! It has an unparalleled blend of 1960s rock music with latin rhythms that has never been done before, and I am a fan of Santana. For example, if you liked 1966's Summer In The City by the Lovin' Spoonful then you'll love the latin arrangement done in this CD by Los Challengers. Same with Good Lovin' originally by the Young Rascals. In the end, this has to be classified for posterity as one the best albums ever made of Latin-Caribbean rock. If you read this far, you may be interested in the first album that The Challengers made, back in 1969. If you "were there", then you'll love it now again. And if you were not, Welcome! |
